We extend the invitation to participate in Laudato Si’ Week to all the fraternities of the Order through the JPIC Offices of each entity and to the Franciscan Family. The following are the initiatives that will be carried out or will be presented during the week of May 16 through 25
In the spirit of Laudato Si’ 2021, the platform “Prayer Network for the Care of Creation”, a network of communities committed to the healing of our common home, has been created. The JPIC Office, with the support of Pro Monialibus, has invited the Poor Clares, the Capuchin Sisters and the Conceptionist Sisters to be part of this network.
The JPIC organisations of the Franciscan Family of this region got involved from September 2020 with various initiatives in the Laudato Si’ Revolution.
The Laudato Si’ and Integral Ecology Franciscan Online Course is offered to everyone who wants to gain insights into the major themes of Pope Francis’ groundbreaking encyclical and who desires to become a part of the global Franciscan movement towards ecological conversion and systemic change.
Following a synodal process, a new Ecclesial Conference came into being on June 29th,2020. What was the process that led to its creation? Who participates in this Conference? What prospects does the Pan-Amazonian region have? To get answers to these questions, why not participate in the online seminar?

Over the past few years, the climate crisis has demonstrated the need to look for new alternative renewable energy systems. In various countries, the Franciscan friars have been carrying out a process of energy transition in their houses, parishes and schools; the majority have opted for solar energy.
The liturgy garnered a 150 thousand viewership both live and replay. It was followed by the Laudato Si Serenade Concert, featuring the different talents of the different congregations present in the Philippines including our very own OFM friars and some local singer celebrities.
