The World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation will be celebrated on the 1st September 2024, with the theme: Hope and act with creation. The invitation is towards active hope. Who can deny that it is a virtue so necessary in the current situation of creation, which includes us human beings?

The General Office of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) and the Pontifical Antonianum University (PUA) of Rome held the annual course for JPIC animators of the Franciscan Family from the 20th to 26th May 2024.

On behalf of the JPIC General Office, Br. Taucen Girsang visited the Province of St Francis Herald of Peace in West Papua-Indonesia, from 20-29 April 2024, to listen and to exchange experiences with the friars regarding JPIC activities.
On Saturday, the 11th May, the second day of the meeting of the Franciscan family gathered at the friary of the Holy Martyrs of Morocco in the city of Marrakech.
Brothers and sisters of the Franciscan family and special guests from Spain, Italy, Turkey, France, Morocco, Greece and representatives of Franciscans International in Geneva gathered in the city of Marrakech, Morocco, to participate in the first Franciscan meeting of service to migrant and refugee population in the Mediterranean.
Lenten season encourages both Franciscans, Christians and people of goodwill to address society’s problems and advocate for positive change.
