The title of the course, “The Care of the Environment in the Ecumenical and Interreligious Dialogue” will be carried out in Italian with the simultaneous translation to Spanish and English. The general theme of the course will be the concept of “beauty” in the aesthetics of St. Bonaventure and the Spirit of Assisi for the Interreligious Dialogue. The course is scheduled from February 18 to 27 at Antonianum, Rome.
The first block of the course will be from February 18 to 23, 2019 as a part of the High Formation Course on Integral Ecology organized by the PUA. The first module “General Introduction to the Encyclical Laudato si’” was held from October 8 to 13, 2018. All the presentations were registered and available for those who register for the annual JPIC course 2019 at www.ofmjpic.org. To register, send your information to the JPIC Office (pax@ofm.org) and you will receive the password to have access to the videos of the first module. The visualization of the videos of the first module and the actual participation in February, you will be given the right to obtain the certificate of the “High Formation course on Integral Ecology.”
The second block on February 25-27 is dedicated to the work of JPIC promotion, centered on practical aspects, as well as the theological dimensions of JPIC work and promotion in terms of collaborations at various levels within the Order. It will offer an opportunity to build together – based on the experience and reflection of each participant – to better accompany the processes of change of our Gospel and Franciscan journey.
